My IPhone 6 SE didn’t have an adapter said in directions it will fit other adapters. Wrong when upgraded IPhone 12 didn’t have an adapter so using an old & this doesn’t work with my watch.
Money making business for sure. What does this mean I need to buy one now after spending money on my new watch that I can’t charge.

All of those settings were already off and I had plenty of battery power, it actually does it when plugged in. I turned off Dark Mode to see if that fixes it. Still a problem on the SE on 17.4.1 – Gonna have to wait an see.

I had an issue with Dark mode on my MacBook Pro, could not see a box when McAfee would alert me that an update failed. When I turned off Dark Mode, I could see the box that was clearly in a specific color.

Thanks for all the helpful info. I had tried everything except the part about warming up the pencil. I own a 1st Gen pencil with an iPad Pro 12.9 inch, 2nd Gen. After a couple days of going without, and other websites’ advice, I found this page and tried the gentle warmth of a heating pad set on low for a few minutes. Then I recharged it completely, re-paired it and it WORKED! Happy Camper!!

This article needs updated for the latest iOS version 17.4. Settings > General > Profiles no longer exists. You have to go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. There you will find the “Configuration Profile” section to manage email accounts that were added.

Unbelievable. I was issued an iPhone by my employer and wanted to use the alarm clock. Works… at full volume. How medieval.

My phones, from Nokias running Symbian and Windows Phone, through Android had/have a “humane waking” feature, it’s quite simple: the alarm starts at a very low volume and slowly increases until what point you become aware of the alarm.

It appears this “sophisticated” (heavy sarcasm) feature, hasn’t made it to iOS yet, after all these years. Wow.

this isnt even in the settings. ALL features should be able to be disabled by the user owner of the device. The dynamic island is not needed and is useless to me. when I close or go to another app I dont need the app Im not using period! I can find and open the app I need. no help needed from anything. each app should have a toggle for the island and able to use it or not. power to the people no tech or ai. tax the rich their fair share and regulate all tech, expose the algorithm and show chain of production costs and profit margin for ALL consumer products and services. this is not private info and the consumer CAN NOT make an informed decision without this info.

All the sudden my TRX 2023 Ram will only play Carplay music but the artist doesnt show up on the screen nor can I cycle through phone while music is playing. If I change iphone screen the music turns off. The map still works but after 8 months of it working perfectly, wirelessly, it is not working anymore. Went through the reset procedure, deleted phone off truck, truck off phone, all the things that people wrote about, still not working. Thanks for any help getting this back on track. Chris

I’m new to the Mac world and thought I’d get an older Mac to play around with. I was stunned at how slow these things are after just eight years. Linux is so much faster than MacOS! So, I’d like to convert the Mac into a Linux PC.

This is a wonderful and comprehensive guide. Thank you so much for taking the time to write it! Like penttila, I was following along great until I got to:

replace the word “nomodeset” after “quiet splash”. Once you’ve done that, the whole line should read: “linux /casper/vmlinuz.efi file=/cdrom/preseed/ubuntu.seed boot=casper quiet splash nomodeset –“.

What are we replacing nomodeset with? It’s still in the final output that you produced. Is this a typo that we should ignore? Thanks for the help!

Avoid closing the lid on laptops. The thin cable that connects the screen to the motherboard is just that, “thin” and can wear out if you are constantly opening and closing the lid.

I have an older model ipad that has a button on the bottom that you press to have your icons desplayed.
It is missing. I can still use it by using a sylus to engage it. Is there a place that replaces that button somewhere here in Sumnerville, sc.

Incoming mail: receiving very little mail and the vast majority is going into Junk.
I move the wanted mail to inbox then completely delete all junk mail.
The junk mail fills up again with very old stuff. Years old, deleted mail!
What do I do to fix this?
