Kollam, the headquarters to the Kollam District, is Kerala in a
nutshell. From the emerald backwaters to the gurgling palm fringed

of the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. Kollam was formerly known
as "Desinganadu" during the rule of the Travancore kings
